Turquoise– Water Element -綠松石

Origin: Southwestern US, Australia, Chile, India, Tibet

History: Archaeological excavations revealed that the rulers of ancient Egypt adorned themselves with turquoise jewellery, and Chinese artisans were carving it more than 3,000 years ago. Turquoise is also the national gem of Tibet. The gem’s name comes from the French expression “Pierre Tourques”, or “Turkish stone.” The name, which originated in the thirteenth century, reflects the fact that the material probably first arrived in Europe from Turkish sources.

Attributes: Turquoise helps to strengthens the organs, balances the subtile systems, neutralizes the environment, cools emotions, calms overactive thoughts.
