Mother Pearl – Water Element - 珍珠母

 

Origin: Australia, Japan, Central America, Persian Gulf, Sri Lanka, Madagascar, Burma, Philippines, China French Polynesia, South America, South East Asia, Europe and North America.

History: One of the first materials used by craftsman used for decorative and ritual purposes. Mother or pearl has been found in Turkey dating back 6000 – 3000 BC. Mother of Pearls Ornaments were also found in the Egyptian Pyramids dating back 4200 BC.

Attributes: According to Feng Shui it attracts wealth & money, prosperity, love and success.
