Amethyst - Wood Element -紫晶

 

Origin: Brazil, Uruguay, South Korea, Canada, USA and Russia.

History: In olden times, Amethyst saw its place in the Christian church, worn on Bishops’ rings. The royal purple colour used to symbolize Christ. The stone is also a symbol of Saint Matthias. The twelfth foundation of the Holy City was built of amethyst.

Attributes: The Amethyst is a natural tranquilliser, blocking geopathic stress and negative environment energies. It is a good stone to use when meditating as it helps to calm the environment surroundings, allowing you to go deeper into the state. It aids the transmission of neural signs through the brain. Helps with insomnia caused by an overactive mind. Enhances memory and improves motivation, which helps you set more realistic goals. Helps to remember and understand dreams and facilitates visualisation processes.

As for diseases, it helps in bruising, injuries, and swellings. Also treats hearing disorders. Heals the lungs and respiratory tract. It is beneficial for the intestines, regulating flora, removing parasites, and encourages reabsorption of water. 

At a subtle level, this stones balances and connects the physical, mental and emotional bodies, linking them to the spiritual. Helps clean the Aura, and to transmute negative into positive energy. This stone can also help stabilise people with psychiatric conditions such as paranoia or schizophrenia.
